The Sense-U Smart Baby Sock Shoe is NOT a medical device. It is a connected consumer product designed to continuously learn from the data it collects in order to help parents better understand their baby’s sleep patterns. It is designed for healthy children and is NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, alleviate, or prevent any disease or health condition, including but not limited to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). It also does not investigate, replace, or modify anatomy or any physiological function. False positive or false negative readings of indicators such as comfort level, motion patterns, or estimated oxygen variation may occur. These readings should not be interpreted as medical measurements.

• This product is intended for use with healthy children up to 18 months of age. If your child has a pre-existing medical condition, consult your doctor before use.
• This product is an aid and it is not a substitute or should not be substituted for the care and oversight of an adult or consultation with medical professionals.
• Do not use this product as a diagnostic tool.
• Do not use this product as an excuse for unsafe sleep habits.

• For babies with sensitive skin, frequently switch between feet. Take off the Sock Shoe immediately in case of redness, swelling, or skin irritation.
2 INTRODUCTION
2.1 Intended Use
Sock Shoe
The Sense-U Smart Sock Shoe consists of a wearable Sock Shoe sensor and the Sense-U Baby App. It is intended to improve sleep quality for both the baby and the entire family, by monitoring their baby's real-time sleep data as sleep quality indicators.
* The communication distance is up to 50 feet (15 meters) in open space. Brick wall or obstacles in between may affect the distance dramatically
Sense-U Baby App
The Sense-U Baby App is a mobile application that connects to the Sock Shoe to receive readings from your child's foot. It displays real-time readings and provides sleep insights to parents, Helping parents stay informed and feel assured.
Base Station (For Long Range Version)
The Base Station is designed to maintain the Sock Shoe's connectivity at all times and send notifications when the readings exceed preset ranges. It provides notifications through lights and sounds directly from the Base Station, as well as mobile notifications via the smartphone app, aiming to promote restful sleep for both the child and parents.

To pause a Base Station notification, tap the Touch Button in the logo area of the Base Station.
3 HOW TO USE
3.1 Download the App
1. Download the free Sense-U Baby App, available for iOS and Android from Apple App Store and Google Play
2. Allow all requested permissions for the Sense-U App, e.g Location, Bluetooth, Critical Alert, No Optimization of Battery Usage, etc.
3. Create a free Sense-U account.
* Bluetooth on your smart device must be turned on to connect. For Android devices, please ensure Location is enabled for the Sense-U Baby App at all times by going to Settings->Connections->Location and Settings->Apps-> Sense-U Baby-> Permissions. Otherwise, the app cannot pair with the sensor or stay connected.
* To pair to another smart device, you need to log out the Sense-U App on the paired smart device first.
* The communication distance is up to 50feet (15 meters) in open space. Firewalls or other obstacles in between may significantly affect the distance.
3.2 Pair the Sense-U Sensor
Follow the in-app instructions to pair the Sense-U sensor.
Sock Shoe (Bluetooth Version)
Long press the power button on the sensor to switch it on. Then, double-click the sensor until it begins to flash BLUE, indicating it is ready to pair.
Sock Shoe ( Long Range Version )
1. The Base Station flashes BLUE when it is awaiting pairing. It flashes GREEN when it is ready to pair with the Sock Shoe sensor.
2. Long press the power button on the Sock Shoe sensor to turn it on. Then, double-click the power button until it begins to flash BLUE, indicating it is ready to pair.
3.3 Choose a Sock Shoe
Choose a Sock that fits well — not too tight or too loose, with room for the skin to breathe. This ensures comfort and accurate readings. Start with the size suggested by weight, and switch as needed for the best fit.
* Check the Sock fit regularly. Baby’s foot size may vary, and babies grow quickly. Stop using the system when your baby reaches 30 lbs or outgrows the largest Sock.
Align the notch on the Sensor with the notch in the Sock. Stretch the Sock opening over the Sensor until it fits securely.
3.4 Wear Sock Shoe
The Sock Shoe should fit snugly - not too tight or too loose. Take off the sock immediately in case of redness, swelling, or skin irritation. IMPORTANT: Alternate between left and right foot every day to avoid irritation on your child’s skin.
Step 1: apply left /right sock accordingly. Align the triangular notch with the back of the pinky toe, and ensure the sock notch does not extend beyond the toes.
Step 2: After aligning the notch, secure the hook-and-loop strap to fasten the forefoot. Ensure the notch's reference position does not shift during tightening.
Step 3: Wrap the other strap around the ankle and secure it with velcro.
Step 4: Tighten the straps on the soles with velcro for a snug fit.
Skin Irritation
4 POWER AND CHARGING
The Sense-U Smart Sock Shoe uses magnetic wireless charging:
1. Plug it in, align both charging contact pins and ensure they are facing the correct position. The indicator will flash GREEN.
2. Once charging is complete, the battery indicator will show solid GREEN.
* Only use a DC 5V 1A adapter.
* Fast-charging adapters are not supported.
* When not in use, turn off the Sock Shoe sensor by long-pressing the power button to save power.
5 MAINTENANCE
To ensure your Sense-U Sock Shoe remains comfortable and safe for your baby, it’s essential to clean it regularly. We recommend washing the fabric Sock Shoe weekly to maintain hygiene and prevent skin irritation.
Important Notes:
• CAUTION! The Sock Shoe sensor is NOT waterproof. Turn it off, and never submerge it in water.
• Hand Wash Only: Always hand wash the fabric Sock Shoe to protect its integrity.
• Do Not Dry Clean: Avoid using dry cleaning methods, as they can damage the fabric and sensor.
• Wash at or Below 30°C / 86°F: Use cool or lukewarm water to prevent fabric damage.
• Line Dry Only: Hang the fabric Sock Shoe to air dry naturally.
• Do Not Tumble Dry: Avoid using a dryer; this can lead to shrinkage and damage.
• Do Not Iron: Ironing can warp the sensor and damage the fabric.

Our warranty liability is limited to replacing the unit free of charge and does not include transport costs. Our guarantee extends to all countries where this product is supplied.
