What is heart rate?
1. Heart rate is the number of beats the heart makes per minute (bpm). Children naturally have faster heart rates compared to adults.
2. Factors like vigorous activity, crying, or a rise in body temperature can increase heart rate, while sleeping causes it to decrease.
3. A crying baby's heart rate can go up to 180 bpm, while during sleep, it may drop to as low as 70 bpm.
How to activate heart rate notifications?
When the heart rate remains outside the preset range for 15 seconds and the oxygen level drops below 90%, a heart rate notification will be triggered, informing parents that their child may be experiencing discomfort and could need assistance to sleep better.
